As I already said in other threads,
I'd like to do different events regularly.
Therefore i want to make some kind of event-rotation,
meaning that there will be a different event each weekend.
Sometimes I also want to do some "free" Event,
which means that this event will not be made regularly in Event rotation,
but only some times, but is then a really big event, which needs support from Clans and/or Admins.
I already have some donations to make Events in the next time. A list of Donators will be added at the end of this Post.
Eventrotation events (order may change) :
- Sirius Navigation Race
- Last Man Standing Tournament
- Bountyhunt like old Hunter~ events
- Smuggler Hunt
- Sirius Survival Race
- Prisoner Event (Eventmanager can be the "Prisoner")
- PvP-Tournament (with or without teams)
- Team Deathmatch (need kill-count option first)
- more will be added.
All Eventroation events will be explained when you scroll down.
Free Events:
- Fleet Event, remake of this one: Der große Kampf (needs Clansupport for BSs and many participants)
- Nomad Invasion event (requires Admin Support for Nomads spawning in normal Systems and
giving Nomad Ships to certain Players [at least it would be more interesting with players])
- Ingame Server Meeting (really should be repeated!)
- more will be added.
Free Events will be announced and planned (they need much more time) in their own threads.
If you want to suggest new events, eighter for Event-roation or for free events, please send me a PM.
Maybe i will also make a thread for event-proposals.

Event-Explanations and Rules:
Sirius Naviation Race
Race through Sirius with start- and targetsystem and some checkpoint-systems to be reached before flying to the finish.
First one with all Checkpoints arriving at finish wins. NO PvP, only disrupting tradelanes allowed. No selfkills.
Last Man Standing Tournament
First 2 Rounds of LMS. The winners of each round fight against each other.
Then 2 rounds of Team-LMS. 2 Teams flying towards each other from distance and fighting.
The team of the last man standing wins the round. If there is no clear winner, other rounds may be added.
-> GunsOnly Event!
Bountyhunts
Bountyhunts similar to /bounthunt system, but without switching and laming around.
Smuggler Hunt
One/two player(s) in fighters have to smuggle some artifacts, the other players hunt them.
They start some minutes before the hunters, but have to reach 2/3 checkpoints before they may fly to their target system.
The checkpoints are not known to the hunters, the targetsystem is, but they may not enter it
before at least one smuggler is in a system next to it and has reached all checkpoints.
The smugglers may reload after a fight, when their radar is clear, but they may not dock at any base to refill Bots/Bats or repair.
Sirius Survival Race
Another form of race where every participant starts from another system.
Players have to reach all the other starting systems, but may kill each other and do not need to reach
the system of a player they killed.
Players may respawn and continue after they were killed.
So the kill of a player is the same as reaching the players system.
The first one having all systems wins, he does not have to fly back to his system!
Prisoner Event
There are two teams. Team one escorts a Prisoner (Eventmanager) who belongs to team 2 and has to be rescued.
Team 1 needs to reach a certain base with the Prisoner. The Prisoner has to follow Team 1 as long as there are no players of team 2 on radar.
If there are Players of team 2 he may attempt to escape.
If the escape is successful, Team 1 may try to recapture the prisoner by killing all members of team 2 next to him.
The Prisoner may not be attacked except by cruise disruptors. At the beginning he has no ammo,
but may be supplied with ammo by his teammembers (Team 2).
Pvp-Tournament
Tournament of several 1on1 fights. Winners get to next round, loosers are out.
Similar to tournaments in football or handball but without a group phase. May also be made with teams (2on2).
Team Deathmatch
2 teams of equal size fight each others for a specific time. After the fighttime the Team with most kills wins.
Selfkills may lead to negative points. Similar to TDM in Ego-shooters.
Specific rules will be told ingame at beginning of event

Team-PvP-Tournament
2vs2 (3vs3?)-Tournament
Version 1 ["Team-Tournament"]: 2 (3?) people team up and fight against other duos in a tournament with the same structure as UEFA Euro (2012). When there aren't enough players one could leave out the groups.
Version 2 ["Mercenary Team-Tournament"]: 2 (3?) people who participate in that event will be teamed up by the tournament-boss (or by chance). The tournament itself runs the same way as Ver. 1/UEFA Euro.
Team-Deathmatch
Two groups of 4/6/8/10/... players face each other in 3/5/7 rounds. Instant respawn, fight until enough points are collected. Each death of Team B will add 100 points to the score of Team A. There are, for example, 10000 points to reach. The first team who reaches that amount of points wins a round. That team who wins the majority of the rounds is the winner of Team-Deathmatch.

Maybe Team Last Man Standing is the best short time solution for your problem, I think to code shtg. takes too much time and too many recources.
Play it "Counter-Strike" style.... without a bomb of course  |

Actually you shouldn't complain about W7 lags since your internet connection isn't the best either. ^^ |

I'd say only class 10 ships, so no Spam-BDs...
or we make it free... every ship allowed, since players will focus spam chars first to not get killed by them
I tend to say: Just stay alive, how you to it, is your problem xD
About win7 lag: still hope for some server-side solution in the next time, but till then we have to live with it i think... |

I'd say everything allowed, Patriot is hard to hit but does not make much dmg.
Only Spam-BDs should be abolished, they are lame and unfair in event.
Most players will come in eagle anyway i think... |

I would add the rule - everybody fights!
It can sounds silly but I remember one LMS on Jolt where the "winner" just flew away 2-3k and waited until there was only 2 guys with almost no hull. |

Okay. For this first LMS i will not set any rules concerning ship. That everybody has to fight is certain, who flies away too far is out.
If i see that most players will only use spam ships i will make rule concerning weapons, then you may only have one missile or one torp.
But for this LMS: All free, but please be fair and not lame. |

Thanks to all participants!
We were ~12 fighters.
In LMS rounds Raubvogel° and Quetzacoatlus (Turmi) won.
Quetza also won the fight against Raubvogel° and had first pick when making teams.
In Team-LMS Qeutzas Team won 2 times.
So prices: Raubvogel° 1 mil, every member of Quetzas team 1 mil, quetza himself 2 mil (2x 0,5 for team LMS, + 1 for normal LMS)
I'd say the Event was a succes, but i have to say that new rules are necessary, because of too much use of Cannonball and tiz+double lancer or lancer+torp. After talking to the participants we decided:
-> LMS tournament is now a GunsOnly Event! |

About prizes of the smuggler hunt:
The smugglers will get some money (~500k) for each checkpoint reached and for each hunter they were able to kill. If they even reach the target system and are able to dock there, they get 1 mil for that. Hunters only will get money for killing one or both smugglers (number of smugglers depends on number of participants). Killing a smuggler will get you ~1 mil. So the hunters are in contest with each other, because they need to kill the smugglers but only the one who killed the smuggler will recieve money. You certainly may work in teams as hunters, but you will have to part the money then (if you get the smugglers).
So in a short form:
Smugglers vs Hunters, but hunters are in contest for the kills (Hunters may not kill each other!).

No CB/Sunslayer/Firestalker!
For Hunters only Class 10 Ships.
For Smugglers ship selection free (so agile ones for fleeing allowed, but then killing hunters is much harder).
No use of Double-Missile/Missile+Torp.
If someone wants to be smuggler please write here. If we have too many smugglers or too few, i will decide them by chance (maybe with dice xD ) |

Just wanted to tell you that I will not do any Events the next weeks due to my RL because i'm having my A-level exams now. After the exams i will continue with regular Events.

Ich werde in den nächsten Wochen keine Events veranstalten, da ich zur Zeit mitten im Abi stecke und bald die Prüfungen habe. Danach wird es wieder mit regelmäßigen Events weitergehen. |
